New York native Liv Hanna, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter, recording artist, and model, is making waves in the music industry with her distinctive blend of Pop, Alt-Pop, Dark Pop, and Pop Rock. Based in Miami, FL, Liv Hanna's latest release, "Sign It on the Line," is her most daring and dramatic song yet, a powerful anthem that delves deep into the topic of suicide.

Liv Hanna's musical journey began at an incredibly young age. She started piano lessons when she was around 4 or 5 years old and began voice lessons by the age of 6 or 7. Her early involvement in community theater sparked a love for performance, and she focused on trying to get cast in Broadway productions. By the age of 11 or 12, she was writing her own songs, and at 13 or 14, she stepped into the studio for the first time. As an only child with parents heavily involved in music, Liv's upbringing was rich with musical influences. Her mother, in particular, introduced her to jazz and opera, shaping her early musical tastes. She later attended the University of Miami, majoring in Modern Artistry Development and Entrepreneurship (M.A.D.E).

"Sign It on the Line," set to release on May 17th, 2024, follows her acclaimed single "crazy," which marked her debut with Sony's AWAL. The new single is a somber, jarring piece that serves as a mental health anthem, released in tribute to Mental Health Awareness Month. Liv Hanna explains that the song is about reaching a breaking point and contemplating saying goodbye. Despite its graphic and depressing nature, the song is written in an anthemic way, aiming to provide solace to listeners struggling with mental health issues.

The production of "Sign It on the Line" saw Liv Hanna collaborating again with rising producer PJ McGinnis, who also worked on her previous record, "Back To Hell." The guitar-led instrumental complements Liv's sentimental and evocative lyrics, combined with her powerful, soul-stirring vocals, making "Sign It on the Line" a beautiful tearjerker. The song was inspired by Liv's personal struggles with mental health, a theme she explores deeply in her music. Written in 2022 during a period of isolation and emotional turmoil, the song serves as a poignant suicide letter, with lyrics that vividly convey the experience of feeling alone and lost.

Maintaining authenticity in her music while addressing serious topics like mental health is a balancing act that Liv Hanna manages with grace. Influenced by artists such as Amy Winehouse and Billie Eilish, she describes her style as Dark Alt-Pop. Her ability to channel her personal experiences into her music has allowed her to create a unique genre of her own. Liv Hanna's commitment to authenticity shines through in every note and lyric, resonating deeply with her audience.

As Liv prepares for the release of "Sign It on the Line," she is also gearing up for future performances. She is eager to go on tour and perform live with her band, which has recently started practicing in New York. With just one semester of college remaining, Liv Hanna is ready to focus fully on her music career and share her powerful voice and messages with the world.

Liv Hanna's journey is a testament to her talent, resilience, and dedication to her craft. As she continues to release new music and connect with her fans, it's clear that she is well on her way to superstardom. "Sign It on the Line" is not just a song; it's a powerful statement and a beacon of hope for those struggling with their mental health. Liv Hanna's music, infused with emotional depth and authenticity, is destined to leave a lasting impact on the industry and her listeners alike.
